Hey, I’m Artemis!
Whenever I write a story, romance is always a huge part of the book. There’s just something about two people falling in love that makes me feel good. Whether it’s in a book, movie, or video game, I eat it up like the hopeless romantic I am. (Final Fantasy X, I blame you for everything.)
I decided to create this pen name so that I could make love stories my profession.
I’ve been writing for fun since I was in Elementary school. It wasn’t until 2017 that I started taking it seriously. With my previous pen name Kay Bennson, I published five Science Fiction and Fantasy books. I learned a lot along the way, but I still wasn’t feeling completely fulfilled. After some major life changes in 2023, I decided it was time for a fresh start. It was time to make Artemis Price: Contemporary Romance Author happen.
My goal is to write love stories that take place in unique situations. What if two former child stars decided to have a fake relationship to better their careers? What if a paranormal believer and a skeptic were forced to team up? I’ve got twenty ideas at this moment in time and I hope they keep coming. I hope you love my characters as much as I do.
When I’m not writing, I take Karate (I’m almost a green belt!), I cook, read, watch the Game Grumps play video games, and obsess over gymnasts that do things I cannot wrap my brain around. Look, more story ideas!
Also, I have a little boy who is my life and I hope I make him proud.
