I Wrote a Short Story for my Newsletter!

I feel like at face value this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but since I’ve never been able to write a quick story, I’m very proud of myself.

Since Semi Sweet will be my first release once all my ducks are in row (New logo, covers, formatting software, etc), I thought it would be best for my freebie to be something in that universe. It’s called Baker’s Secret, and is the beginning of Semi Sweet from a different character POV. I don’t want to give too much away here (Not that it’s super spoilery)

I’ve done a round of edits on my own, and now the plan is to send it out to an editor to make sure she’s perfectly polished before I format it and get it on Bookfunnel. As soon as that is all set, I will update everything on the website! If you’ve already signed up for my newsletter and you are patiently waiting for content, I’ll start your onboarding sequence as soon everthing is ready to go.

I’ve been thinking, and wonder if it’s unrealistic for each new release to have it’s own special reader magnet? That would require finishing the initial story first. So I better get back to Second Act so I can make that happen.
